He selected the Sooners over offers from Clemson, Florida, LSU, and Nebraska. Mills is ranked as the No. 88 overall prospect and the No. 12 wide receiver in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

In his junior year at Homestead High School, Mills amassed 79 receptions for 1,640 yards and 18 touchdowns, demonstrating his explosive playmaking ability. His commitment further strengthens Oklahoma’s receiving corps, providing a dynamic target for the Sooners’ offense.
